Licensed Practical Nurses, School Health
Nature of Work
Under the supervision of the appropriate School Health Nurse, this position makes nursing judgments and performs technical procedures within the scope of his/her practice/licensure to meet the health needs of students. Responsibilities may also include a variety of health tasks and clerical work in assisting students with special health requirements, to include lifting, positioning, transferring, and aiding in bodily functions.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Determined by the Maryland Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Practical Nurses.
Experience: None
Licenses or Certifications: Must possess a current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
Driver’s License Required
