Licensed Practical Nurse (Urgent)

Garden Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 173-bed long-term care and short-term stay facility in Willow Grove, PA (Philadelphia suburb), is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our care team.

About the role

The most successful candidate for this position:

• Has at least 6 months experience in the long-term care OR rehab setting
• Embraces our person-centered care approach to meet each resident's needs and preferences
• Possesses a true passion for excellence in nursing care
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm and perform effectively during peak periods of activity and emergency situations
• Effectively interacts with residents, their family members, and the healthcare team members

Responsibilities

• In coordination with the healthcare team, assesses, plans, directs, evaluates, and modifies each resident's care plan to meet his/her physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs
• Manages emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner
• Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records
• Completes medication administration and treatment needs for all assigned residents

Requirements

• LPN license for the state of Pennsylvania (required upon hire)

Schedule

Full Time & Part Time schedules available. Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am.
