About the role

The primary care facility seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will focus on providing direct patient care, participating in care planning, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the assessment of patient needs and provides direct care.
  • Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts care plans as necessary.
  • Develops and interprets patient care plans.
  • Teaches patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicates effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Administers medications accurately and documents treatments.
  • Schedules and coordinates diagnostic tests and referrals.
  • Documents patient progress and responses to interventions.
  • Ensures prompt and accurate implementation of physician orders.
  • Responds to changes in patient condition and reports significant findings to the physician.
  • Advises patients and families on medication management and side effects.
  • Supports the practice's quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Current RN license with the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).

$24.10 - $36.15 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
