About the role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. The role involves delivering care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an empathetic and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans.
- Leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge to support patients.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, balancing care with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required.
- CPR certification required.
- IV certification if required by state regulations.
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills
- Ability to build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families.
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in a hospital or similar environment.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule
