Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. The role involves delivering care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an empathetic and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans.
• Leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge to support patients.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, balancing care with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required.
• CPR certification required.
• IV certification if required by state regulations.
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
• Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families.
• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in a hospital or similar environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

Schedule

The position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
