About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in Williamsburg, Virginia offers a hiring range of $28.90 - $39.78 per hour, with actual pay determined by job-related factors including experience, education, credentials, and business needs. Part-time positions are available with a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments accurately and according to provider’s orders.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability, considering safety and dignity issues, and follows facility policies and procedures, including resident privacy and dignity.
• Sets up duties for non-professional staff such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) based on their education, training, policies, and resident needs to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Engages team members to optimize performance and addresses performance issues as necessary.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modification of individual service plans.
• Identifies changes in residents' conditions and documents them according to nursing practice standards.
• Demonstrates consistent follow-through for positive resident outcomes and utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

Qualifications

• Nursing experience (preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP), required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC), required within 30 days of hire.
