Licensed Practical Nurse - Part Time, Varies/Rotating

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or guidance of licensed professionals, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Coordinates care with other departments and adheres to organizational standards, values, and mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in the Obstetrics department, supporting patient care delivery.
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Follow established standards and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience level can vary, from new graduates to seasoned LPNs.
• Certifications such as BLS, LPN-IV, and others as required by the department, with ongoing certification maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements required for patient care.
• Successful completion or possession of unit-specific certifications and adherence to state licensing requirements.
