Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-time)

About the role

The Clinical Health Advocate (Licensed Practical Nurse) is an integral part of our care team, owning patient relationships and driving a collaborative care plan that impacts patients' lives meaningfully. This is a part-time (up to 24 hours/week) hybrid role combining clinical and administrative responsibilities. You'll spend time in the field, traveling within Aroostook County or working from an office in Presque Isle, with some remote work options. General work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm ET.

• Clinical duties include obtaining and documenting vital signs, performing venipuncture and capillary blood collection, administering immunizations and injections, assisting providers with minor procedures, educating patients on treatment plans, and managing patient records.
• Administrative duties involve managing patient charts, ensuring exam rooms and mobile units are clean and organized, maintaining inventory of clinical supplies and medications, coordinating insurance submissions, and communicating with patients and other healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience with phlebotomy
• Preferred experience with injections (vaccines)
• Reliable access to personal transportation
• Strong people skills and ability to connect with anyone
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex ideas simply
• A "hospitality mindset" and track record of creating memorable experiences for others

Pay

$27/hour
