Licensed Practical Nurse Observation Telemetry

This position is located in Wichita, KS, at Via Christi St. Francis, specializing in Observation Telemetry. It involves providing patient care during night shifts, focusing on clinical assessments, medication administration, diagnostic support, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, promptly identifying adverse reactions.
• Conduct laboratory tests and therapeutic procedures vital to diagnostics.
• Advocate for patients, educating families and empowering recovery and self-care.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
• Preferred: IV certification at the time of hire.
