Responsibilities
- Assessing and documenting residents' physical conditions, developing care plans, and communicating with physicians
- Delivering direct physical and emotional care during emergencies, illnesses, or disabilities
- Educating residents and families on health maintenance and preventive care
- Providing skilled nursing care, passing medications, assisting with personal care, and managing documentation
- Leading and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and communicating resident status to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active LPN license in the state
- Previous experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
