Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care for work-related injuries and illnesses, including triage, first aid, and referral when appropriate
• Respond promptly to on-site medical emergencies
• Document all incidents, assessments, and treatments in accordance with company protocol and regulatory requirements
• Communicate injury handoffs and follow-up needs to day-shift RNs
• Perform health screenings (e.g., blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring)
• Support workers’ compensation processes and return-to-work coordination
• Auxiliary in case management activities under RN supervision
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and occupational health standards
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment across manufacturing operations

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Ohio or multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in occupational health or related setting
• Licenses in good standing
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
• Familiarity with workers’ compensation and return-to-work protocols
• Current CPR/BLS/AED certification
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Preferred qualifications include Respirator fit testing certification, CAOHC certification (or willingness to obtain), and case management experience
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts, ability to lift or assist up to 25 pounds, frequent use of hands for clinical tasks and documentation, ability to wear required PPE in manufacturing areas
