Join a dedicated healthcare team in correctional facilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Responsibilities
- Providing quality nursing care within the scope of practice outlined by state laws.
- Monitoring patient health, administering medications, and caring for wounds.
- Assisting in developing and implementing patient education plans focused on health promotion and restoration.
- Documenting patient actions accurately in medical records and MAR.
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to medical staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved LPN program.
- Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
- Active CPR certification.
- Knowledge of relevant state laws and regulations.
- Successful completion of clinical competencies.
