Job Summary
TRITAL Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse LPN for an opportunity in Silver City, New Mexico. This role is ideal for an experienced LPN who is comfortable providing hands-on patient care, medication administration, documentation, and day-to-day clinical support in a professional healthcare setting. The selected LPN will work closely with RNs, providers, CNAs, and facility leadership to help deliver safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients or residents.Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for:- Providing direct nursing care according to the patient or resident care plan.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitoring patient condition and reporting changes to the RN, provider, or charge nurse.
- Aiding with admissions, discharges, transfers, and routine nursing documentation.
- Supporting wound care, vital signs, specimen collection, and basic bedside procedures within LPN scope.
- Maintaining accurate charting in the facility's EMR system.
- Following infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility compliance standards.
- Supporting CNAs and nursing assistants when assigned.
- Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico or eligible multistate/compact LPN license, as accepted by the facility.
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred.
- Experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehab, Nursing Home, Med-Surg, or patient care support preferred.
- Current BLS certification preferred or required by facility.
- Ability to complete required background screening, drug screen, and credentialing.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
Preferred Experience
- LTC / Skilled Nursing Facility experience.
- Geriatric or rehab patient care experience.
- Strong medication pass experience.
- EMR documentation experience.
- Ability to work independently while following facility protocols.
