Licensed Practical Nurse - Methadone Clinic

About the role

RiseWell Community Services is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Methadone Clinic in the Clinical Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide health management and counseling, in conjunction with the psychiatrist and registered nurse, as a member of a treatment team for persons with substance abuse disorders.
• Ensure medical standards as per program regulations are being provided.
• Responsible for medication management, education and administration.
• Attend assigned meetings.
• Conduct all assigned visits.
• Oversee the accurate completion of all documentation.
• Maintain compliance with incident reporting guidelines.
• Comply with agency Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy by preventing, detecting and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud.
• Report any potential non-compliance and comply with all other federal, state and local regulations applicable to this job description.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department.
• A valid and clean NY State driver license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from OASAS required.
