A Med Surg Nurse provides comprehensive bedside care in a healthcare facility in Wichita, KS.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive bedside care within scope of practice
- Assess patient status and report findings to RNs or physicians
- Administer medications and perform lab tests
- Assist with discharge planning
- Educate patients and families
Requirements
- Kansas-licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
- Current BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant experience or applicable licensure
