Licensed Practical Nurse /Medical Assistant | Pediatrics | Day Shift | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Help shape healthy futures in a fast-paced Pediatric clinic
• Work alongside a dedicated pediatric team
• Provide immunizations, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering nebulizer treatments, performing newborn and well-child screenings, and supporting a variety of pediatric clinical services

Qualifications

• LPN:
  • Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida. One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
  • Outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, team focus, and problem-solving skills are required for the ideal candidate.
• Medical Assistant:
  • Minimum Education And Experience Requirements: Graduate of an accredited course of study as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. One year of direct patient care experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and be a team member is essential.

Requirements

• Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida.
• Current Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida. Florida is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Act.
• Or must possess and maintain current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant.
• AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (CPR) is required or must be obtained within first 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR).
• Must successfully complete medication test within 30 days of hire.
• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purposes.
