About the role

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Medical-Surgical Unit, providing comprehensive care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and intervene promptly to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program and a valid state LPN license.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, organization, and communication.
• Ability to understand policies, collaborate with teams, and adhere to certification requirements such as CPI and restrictive intervention curricula.
