Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works with the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Medical Director to provide comprehensive, on- and off-site clinical services to members enrolled in the MAT program. They provide medical and support services, including:

• Administering injections
• Coordinating lab work
• Pharmacy coordination
• Teaching wellness classes
• Taking vitals
• Coordinating with psychiatric and medical providers to ensure appropriate medical care for MAT program participants

Key responsibilities also include:

• Strategic planning, resource management, and process improvement across service groupings
• Overseeing the implementation of active treatment and nursing care for patients
• Managing staffing levels, establishing cost control programs, and implementing new programs/services
• Establishing quality measures and standards for continuous quality improvement
• Developing, maintaining, and communicating departmental policies, procedures, and practices

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of clinic experience
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
• This position is available only to those who reside in the United States
