Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Weekends

About the role

Maxim Healthcare in Sweetwater, TN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. No prior homecare experience is required. The role is partnered with Johns Hopkins University to offer paid skill advancement and training for those interested in expanding their skill set.

Case Details

• Location: Friendsville, TN
• Patient type: Pediatric with G-tube and low acuity
• Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible times possible)
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current TB screening or chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $30 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $1,200
