Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Weekend Nights
About the role
We are hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Weekend Nights position at RHA Health Services. This is a regular full-time role located in Humboldt, TN (on-site).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported.
- Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled.
- Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
- Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
- Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
- Ability to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Able to regularly lift 20 pounds.
- Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Able to pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
- Able to regularly stand and walk.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.

- Distance vision.
- Peripheral vision.
