The Opportunity
The ConvenientMD team is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in our urgent care setting. This role involves conducting patient triage, assisting with exams, performing clinical procedures, engaging with patients, and supporting the clinical team.
Required Availability
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and/or non-consecutive days.
- For full-time: Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week, with at least four (4) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- For part-time: Two (2) 12-hour shifts per week, with at least two (2) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
- For per diem: Four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, ideally working one (1) shift each week.
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other ConvenientMD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
- Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute.
Who You Are
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Certification and experience: State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.

- Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with or ability to learn Experity as well as other business systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- One to two (1-2) years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred.
