About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Southmont, a skilled nursing community in Washington, PA, plays a crucial role in coordinating and implementing nursing care for residents. This position requires a strong understanding of the PA State Nurse Practice Act and the ability to lead a team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Responsibilities
- Coordinates, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a designated group of residents.
- Provides leadership and direction to CNAs and other caregivers to ensure quality care.
- Manages the overall care of a designated group of residents with oversight by an RN Supervisor as needed.
- May be designated as the Team Leader of a specific nursing unit.
Requirements
- Holds an LPN license in good standing from the State of PA.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing and Dementia Care is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people.
- Self-directed and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay
$34.00/hour Premium Program Rate.
Schedule
Afternoon shift.
