About the role
A 20-bed unit dedicated to patients requiring rehabilitation following stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients as per their individual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members and referring physicians.
Requirements
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
- Requires knowledge of a specialized field.
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Registered Nurse, Registered to practice in Maryland.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
