Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) Charge - Part-Time NOC Shift
About the role
The RN/LPN will work part-time NOC shifts with a 12-hour day shift (6:30 pm- 7:00 am), including every third holiday rotation. Eventide will reimburse the fee to acquire a border state license upon hire for ND nurses.
Responsibilities
- Assesses residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
- Provides individual attention to encourage each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Observes and follows residents’ plans of care, updating and making appropriate changes as necessary.
- Administers medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness.
- Provides direct nursing care to residents as needed, according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Complies with rules and regulations as set forth by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
- Documents accurately in residents' electronic medical records according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Reports resident needs, problems, and observations regarding their condition(s) to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
- Maintains adequate staffing levels and corrects inadequate staffing appropriately.
- Makes sure work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established resident care policies, procedures, and standards.
- Communicates the needs of residents to resident care staff in the unit, as appropriate.
- Interacts with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed, according to the needs of the residents.
- Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
- Coordinates and participates in resident care conferences and communicates information effectively to families.
- Assumes responsibility for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
Qualifications
- Active MN LPN or RN license or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required.

Pay
$36 - $40.32 for RN/ $29 - $32.48 for LPNs per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
