About the role
The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position offers flexible scheduling options including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and holistic care to residents.
- Conduct diligent assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Foster trusting relationships and open communication with residents and their families.
- Ensure residents receive necessary medical attention and support.
Requirements
- Current Illinois LPN license.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Ability to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
- Preferred experience working with older adults.
Qualifications
- Completion of a structured training program.
- Knowledge of the structure and function of the human body.
- Understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule
- Wage range: $34 - $36.01/hour.
- Shift differential: $2/hour.
- Schedule varies: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.
- Must work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month.
- Must work at least one (1) weekend shift per month.
- Must complete at least one (1) observed holiday shift per calendar year.
