Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) *PRN*

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing and supervise program aides assigned to assist with nursing services.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing.
• Administer medication.
• Communicate changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Collect specimen samples when needed.
• Take an active part in patient care planning.
• Prepare patients for transfers or discharge.
• Assist in medical procedures.
• Manage emergency medical situations.
• Ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in good standing.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Completion of company orientation.
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to commute to Helena, MT.
