By integrating in-person and virtual primary care with urgent care, we aim to deliver personalized, hands-on care that proactively educates, connects patients with resources, and simplifies the complexities of downstream care.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
  • Absorb and document patient histories and treatment details in electronic medical records.
  • Communicate test results and explain medication or therapy plans to patients.
  • Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.
  • Execute point-of-care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.
  • Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
  • Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies.
  • Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.
  • Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.
  • Welcome and support the training of new team clinic team members.

Requirements

Candidates must have full-time availability during clinic operating hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 5:00pm. To ensure seamless patient care and clinic readiness, team members can generally expect to work from 7:15am to 5:15pm, including time for opening and closing procedures. While the schedule primarily aligns with these hours, flexibility may occasionally be required to meet patient and team needs.

This position will follow a four day, 10 hour schedule.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.

  • Excellent team player: Enjoys collaborating with others and being a part of a strong team dynamic.
  • Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with or ability to learn NextGen as well as other business systems.

Commensurate with experience.
