About the role

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community currently has some exciting openings for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) on our Personal Care Living Team. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, able to work independently and cohesively with a team, and demonstrate compassionate care.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer personal hygiene, nursing care, treatment and therapeutic measures according to physician's instructions, accepted nursing standards, and QPRC policies.
  • Precisely documents medications, treatments, conditions of residents; completes all required written documentation accurately and timely.
  • Properly uses and maintains all medical supplies/ equipment.
  • Orders supplies for residents and the nursing station as needed.
  • Continually assesses residents' health status; reports changes to Memory Support Coordinator and carefully documents changes.
  • Handles emergency resident situations effectively.
  • Updates the Plan of Care for each resident as conditions change. Demonstrates competency in assessing, planning, implementing, delivering and evaluating care of residents.
  • Demonstrates ability to assist all residents to reach self-care potential, to treat and communicate with dementia residents, and to modify own behavior in response to a resident's behavior.
  • Utilizes effective verbal and written communication skills with all staff, residents and visitors.
  • Gives accurate, concise, and complete shift reports.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED (Copy required)
  • A Current Pennsylvania LPN License
  • A Current CPR certification (QPRC will provide)

Pay

$21.53-$26.88/hour, excluding shift differentials and dependent upon experience

Schedule

  • Part-Time Evening Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm - 6 days per bi-weekly pay period
  • Part-Time Day Shift 8:00am-12:00pm - 6 days per bi-weekly pay period
  • Part-Time Evening Shift 4:00pm-8:00pm - 6 days per bi-weekly pay period
  • Part-Time Evening Shift 4:00pm-8:00pm - 8 days per bi-weekly pay period

Qualifications
