Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part-Time PM **Med** Shift-Every 3rd Weekend. Eventide Sheyenne Crossing!

About the role

Eventide Sheyenne Crossing is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the PM shift (6 PM to 10:30 PM), working every third weekend with a holiday rotation. This position offers a $2/hour evening shift differential and a $2/hour weekend shift differential added to the base wage.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
• Provides individual attention to encourage each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Observes and follows residents’ plans of care, updating and making changes as necessary.
• Administers medications and treatments, monitoring both for effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care to residents according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complies with rules and regulations set forth by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
• Provides accurate documentation in residents’ electronic medical records.
• Assists in orientation and training of new team members.
• Reports resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
• Ensures adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and corrects inadequate staffing appropriately.
• Monitors and ensures the activities and functions of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Provides information, education, and support for assigned residents and their families.
• Communicates residents’ needs to resident care staff and interacts with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed.
• Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
• Coordinates and participates in resident care conferences, communicating effectively with families.
• Reports incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights promptly.
• Manages electronic timecard on a daily basis.
• May occasionally assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed, in accordance with Eventide’s team philosophy.

Requirements

• Active ND LPN license or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $29 - $32.48 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
