About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient-centered care under RN supervision, ensuring high-quality, compassionate service. Local travel and flexibility are required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams and assist with treatments
- Coordinate tests and follow-up care
- Document patient care accurately
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Assess patient needs and perform routine nursing procedures
- Manage medication administration
- Delegate tasks within scope of practice
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
- Communicate changes in patient status to the team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in staff education and mentor new staff
- Maintain current clinical knowledge
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid LPN license
- BLS certification
- Previous healthcare experience
- Oncology or outpatient experience preferred
