About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient-centered care under RN supervision, ensuring high-quality, compassionate service. Local travel and flexibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and assist with treatments
• Coordinate tests and follow-up care
• Document patient care accurately
• Educate patients and families on health management
• Assess patient needs and perform routine nursing procedures
• Manage medication administration
• Delegate tasks within scope of practice
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
• Communicate changes in patient status to the team
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in staff education and mentor new staff
• Maintain current clinical knowledge

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid LPN license
• BLS certification
• Previous healthcare experience
• Oncology or outpatient experience preferred
