About the role
Full-time night-shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions throughout the night shift.
- Recognize changes in condition and communicate clinical concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
- Follow individualized resident care plans and physician orders.
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the nursing team.
- Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
Pay
$25.00–$29.55 per hour (based on experience).
Schedule
11:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift.
