Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) care for long term care residents
- Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
- Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
- Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
- Offer emotional support and education about treatments and procedures
- Comply to all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
- Observance of patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
- Aid in the provision of emergency care
Skills And Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by South Dakota required
- BLS certification from the AHA required
