Pay

Responsibilities
- Admissions, discharge, and transfers of residents
- Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
- Medication administration
- Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
- Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
- Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
- Working under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment
- Delivering nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
- Collecting patient/resident data, making observations, and reporting pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident
- Implementing the patient/resident plan of care and evaluating the patient/resident response according to state-specific regulations
- Directing and supervising care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations, in accordance with state-specific regulations
- Maintaining knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
- Maintaining knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use (e.g., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices)
- Maintaining confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all patient/resident/personnel information
Requirements
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State
- CPR Certification required
- Two years prior nursing experience preferred
