Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical Telemetry

About the Role

This position supports new graduate nurses participating in a Nurse Residency Program, focusing on clinical skill development, professional growth, and adherence to organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Attend curriculum and training sessions
• Manage patient care under supervision
• Collect and document patient data
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams
• Provide treatments and document care
• Escalate issues as needed
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Support unit operations
• Assist with patient discharge education

Requirements

• Completion of an approved LPN program or equivalent
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact
• Less than one year of LPN experience
• Knowledge of patient care standards, ethical practices, and safety protocols

Additional Details

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager, with variable shifts in a hospital setting.
