Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical Surgical

About the role
The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the Medical-Surgical setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice as defined by state regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team under RN supervision to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience in the Medical-Surgical environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Schedule
Full Time Nights: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., three 12-hour shifts per week.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.00 to $40.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
