Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age‑ and population‑appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
- One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
