Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Long Term Care- Overnights

Position Highlights

Hendricks Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their compassionate and dedicated team in Long Term Care. Nurses are responsible for providing the highest quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota
• Previous experience in geriatric nursing preferred
• Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing resident needs ensuring quality resident care
• Obtains, administers and monitors effectiveness of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Communicates with medical staff to ensure prompt quality care and carries out physician orders as directed
• Strong leadership, initiative, and independent judgment skills required
• Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Computer experience and proficiency required to maintain EMR

Starting Wage and Benefits

$27.10 an hour dependent on experience
$3,000 Sign on bonus
Student loan reimbursement of $200 a month available to nursing staff.

Job Details

• Day shift: 10pm to 6:30am
• Weekend and shift differentials available
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required
