Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an RN, contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• May administer medication.
• Documents patient care given.
• Aids RN in developing the plan of care.
• Aids patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Maintains awareness of patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Requirements

• A current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$10,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified applicants.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts one week / 4x12 hour shifts the next week, Days (7a - 7p), rotating weekends.
