About the role

As a Rehab LPN/LVN, you will be part of a team focused on collaborative, patient-centered therapy where nursing works alongside therapists and physicians to help patients achieve their recovery goals.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the RN with initial and reassessment assessments per policy.
  • Implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
  • Conduct timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
  • Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
  • Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
  • Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio LPN or LVN license.
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • BLS certification required; IV certification with 6 months of hire required.
  • 6+ months LPN/LVN experience in Medical/Surgical preferred.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a current Ohio LPN or LVN license and graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program. Additional qualifications include BLS certification required; IV certification with 6 months of hire required. Six months of LPN/LVN experience in Medical/Surgical is preferred.
