About the Role

CorrectHealth is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift to join our team in Gretna, LA. The LPN participates in the clinical aspects of patient care alongside the healthcare team and law enforcement, operating under the supervision of an RN, HSA, Mid-Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC. This role requires the ability to provide quality care and respond to the unique needs of the correctional environment while adhering to nursing standards and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical patient care as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Respond to patient needs within the correctional environment.
• Maintain nursing standards and ethics in accordance with the State Board of Nursing and accrediting agencies.

Requirements

• Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing program.
• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Corrections experience is a plus.
