Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Care Center in West Fargo, ND, is hiring a full-time Med and Treatment Nurse (LPN) with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, including every third weekend and holiday rotation. The role offers 72 hours per pay period and a $2/hour weekend shift differential.

About the Role

The Nurse ensures the highest degree of nursing care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
  • Provides individual attention to encourage each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Observes and follows residents’ plans of care, updating and making changes as necessary. Plans of care include interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and C.N.A/NA-R care plans.
  • Administers medications and treatments, monitoring both for effectiveness.
  • Provides direct nursing care to residents according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Complies with rules and regulations from the North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
  • Documents accurately in residents’ electronic medical records per established standards.
  • Assists in orientation and training of new team members.
  • Reports resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and corrects inadequate staffing appropriately.
  • Monitors and ensures the activities and functions of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Provides information, education, and support for assigned residents and their families.
  • Communicates resident needs to care staff and interacts with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed.
  • Updates nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
  • Coordinates and participates in resident care conferences, communicating effectively with families.
  • Reports incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
  • Manages electronic timecard on a daily basis.
  • May occasionally assist with other tasks beyond listed duties to support quality resident care.

Requirements

  • Active ND LPN or RN license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $29 - $32.48 per hour for LPNs, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
