Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time, Day

About the role

This position involves providing nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on data collection, patient monitoring, and documentation of patient responses.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs, dressings, lab values, and patient responses
• Communicate changes in patient status to healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Assist with patient and family education
• Administer medications
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing
• At least one year of LPN experience or successful completion of a comparable residency or program equivalency
• Current LPN license recognized in the practicing state; temporary acceptance of RN licensure obtained during employment

Additional Details

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager. Work is typically during daytime hours at a healthcare facility within the Orthopedic Surgery department.
