Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - FT Nights

Responsibilities

• Assist in care planning and treatments for residents under the direct supervision of the RN, consulting with other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills required to care for the resident population on an assigned unit.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with State and Federal guidelines.
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to the shift supervisor.
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment, or problem resolution to ensure they are valid and applicable to documented nurse plans.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expand responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long‑term health‑care facility is a plus.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed.
• Current CPR certification.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills with personnel, residents, and families.

Pay

Competitive salary ranging from $31.25 to $36.00 per hour, plus shift differential. The salary range reflects potential base pay; bonuses or other incentives are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All offers consider experience, qualifications, location, certifications, and training.
