About the Role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at Wythe County Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Active Virginia LPN license (single‑state) or compact license; if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Knowledge of ICD‑9, ICD‑10, CPT codes, insurance benefits, and healthcare backgrounds preferred.
