Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Evening Shift

About the role

Rehab of Kansas City South is hiring a Full-Time LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for our Evening Shift. Join a supportive nursing team dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

Location: Rehab of Kansas City South, 8033 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131.

Schedule

Evening shift: 2:20 PM – 10:30 PM, Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor residents and recognize and report changes in condition
• Complete accurate nursing documentation
• Communicate resident needs and changes with the nursing team
• Follow all state and federal regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards
• Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Assist with care planning and discharge planning
• Provide compassionate care while promoting resident safety and dignity

Requirements

• Current, valid LPN license in the state of Missouri
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Reliable and dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing excellent resident care
