Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Dermatology

Location: Fargo • Full-Time • Monday-Friday, daytime hours. No weekends or holidays.

Join our newly expanded Grand Forks clinic. Fargo Center for Dermatology has recently partnered with Tareen Dermatology, a leading Minnesota-based dermatology practice. We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse to work closely with our providers and deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs
• Accurately document provider encounters within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Assist physicians with biopsies, excisions, cosmetic procedures, and other treatments
• Provide wound care, suture removal, and post-procedure instructions
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
• Handle and label specimens according to established protocols
• Generate orders and coordinate patient care as directed by providers
• Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and equipment
• Follow OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and clinic safety standards
• Participate in clinic training and support activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Active North Dakota LPN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Dermatology experience
• Previous outpatient clinic experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Multi-state compact nursing license
