Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care within the LPN scope of practice
• Rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering medications/IV fluids, performing treatments, and collecting specimens
• Prepare patients and exam rooms; assist providers with examinations, procedures, testing, and real-time documentation as appropriate
• Maintain clinical operations by sterilizing equipment, managing supplies and inventory, supporting scheduling and clerical tasks, and adhering to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
• Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, teamwork, effective communication with supervisors, ongoing skills training, system usage, travel as needed, and completion of assigned duties or special projects

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing
• Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Ohio
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
• Certified in CPR
