Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Day and Night Shifts Available

Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK offers 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am shifts for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).

About the role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Ranchwood Nursing Center, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will ensure the highest quality services are delivered in a customer-service-friendly environment and play a key role in our clinical team and resident care. Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes and coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees and monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates and documents accidents/incidents.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Previous skilled nursing experience.
• Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
