Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Clinical Decision Unit (Days) (PRN)

About the role

The LPN is a new graduate or a nurse who has not practiced nursing within the past five years. The LPN functions under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care
• Performs basic nursing procedures
• Administers medications once competency has been determined

Licenses & Certifications

• Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Multistate Nursing License
• Healthcare Provider (CPR)

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab
• NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• BLS required within 30 days of hire
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke
• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy
