Qualifications
- Current Alabama LPN License or Temporary PN License
- Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required
- Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Positive attitude and compassionate approach to resident care
- Able to work well with residents, families, physicians, and staff
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Essential Job Functions
- Supervise and support CNA staff during assigned shift
- Ensure quality resident care and adherence to nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Complete accurate documentation and resident assessments
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify physician/family as needed
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Respond quickly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies
