Qualifications

  • Current Alabama LPN License or Temporary PN License
  • Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required
  • Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and compassionate approach to resident care
  • Able to work well with residents, families, physicians, and staff
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise and support CNA staff during assigned shift
  • Ensure quality resident care and adherence to nursing standards
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Complete accurate documentation and resident assessments
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify physician/family as needed
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning
  • Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Respond quickly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies
