Westerwood is currently searching for a Full-Time 7 am–7 pm LPN Charge Nurse to join our team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the State of Ohio
• CPR certification
• At least six months of geriatric nursing experience
• Passion and ability to provide superior quality of care with an emphasis on customer service
• Resourceful problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and administer medications
• Administer treatments including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care; assist in direct resident care as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and cares rendered
• Keep physicians and family aware of changes in residents’ conditions
• Assist in admission and discharge procedures
• Respond to resident emergency call system as indicated
